At The Pyne Awards Africa, our primary focus rests on our dedication towards the celebration and the recognition of African Excellence and Achievements. 

We recognize the brands and individuals from all over the world who create lasting and significant impact within the African Tourism and Hospitality experience. The event itself also serves as a platform through which leaders and thought leaders within Tourism and Hospitality are able to converge and participate in an exchange of experience and value. 


The Pyne Awards Africa is convened by the Pyne Hospitality LLC. Founded since 2018, and operating since then in the capacity of both celebrator and celebrant of excellence within the African tourism and Hospitality Industry. With a Team of over 30 workers and partners, we have expanded into multiple African nations, including Nigeria, Namibia, Botswana, Uganda, Mozambique, Senegal, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Chad, South Africa, Ghana, Eswatini, Rwanda, and Kenya, the Pyne Hospitality LLC continues providing unique experiences within Africa through Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE).


The Pyne Awards Africa’s mission is to recognize and celebrate organizational excellence, highlight exceptional employees, and acknowledge their contributions to the Hospitality and Tourism industries. The Pyne Hospitality LLC is an ethical and honest African organization that genuinely honors deserving winners.

Nominations

All of our awards are judged by a panel of distinguished industry experts who adhere to a stringent judging code of conduct and are not eligible to enter. Our thorough, two-step judging method is objective, fair, and consistent across all entries. Qualified entries will be vetted and judged by our judging experts. In certain categories, the final six official nominees will be announced for public voting; in others, our judging panel will decide.

Brand Excellence

This award recognizes brands and brand owners that are involved in the African hospitality and tourism ecosystems. Awards under this headline shine the spotlight on brand excellence, higher service quality, exceptional customer service, customer experiences, ambience, guest review/rating, and brand accomplishments. 

Industry Stars

Individuals and workers of brands operating in the African tourism and hospitality ecosystems are recognized in this award category.

It focuses on the accomplishments and achievements of these individuals over the course of their careers.

Excellence Awards

This award recognizes individuals, brands, and initiatives that contribute to the African hospitality and tourism industries. It demonstrates the extent to which they have contributed to the development and growth of the sector.

Annual Recognition Awards

This award recognizes individuals who over the years have contributed to the development and growth of the African hospitality and tourism industry while leaving a legacy for the next generation.

  • Must be a direct stakeholder in Africa’s tourism and hospitality ecosystems

  • Nominees and brands must have been in operation for a minimum of one year prior to the submission deadline.
  • To be considered, nominees must have a demonstrated track record of excellence, exceptional customer service, and people management (both internally and externally).
  • Any technology product or company must be operational for a minimum of one year from the date of application.
  • Only entries that are completed will be considered.
  • Entries must be submitted in the English language.
  • Submissions must be made via the nomination link/form.
  • If additional information is required, qualified nominees will be notified.

For Individuals

  • Must be a direct stakeholder in Africa’s tourism and hospitality ecosystems.
  • Nominees must have worked in the industry for at least three years before submitting their applications.
  • Nominees must have a demonstrated track record of excellence, stellar customer service abilities, and remarkable accomplishments.
  • Nominees for The Rising Star Award categories must have worked in the industry for a minimum of one year prior to submission.
  • Only entries that are completed will be considered.
  • Entries must be submitted in the English language.
  • Submissions must be made via the nomination link/form.
